Job Summary: Join VCU's Environmental Health and Safety team as a BioSafety Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our community. You'll manage all biological safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NIH, and CDC guidelines. Manage the Institutional Biosafety Committee and oversee approval processes for biohazardous material requests. This role supports various safety programs across the campus, contributing to a culture of safety and compliance. Make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our community and support the continued growth and innovation of our top 50 R1 research institutions.
